Create a daily routine for dealing with paperwork.It’s not as hard as it sounds. In 4 simple steps, your paperwork will go from chaos to organised.
Step 1 – Trash, recycle or shred it. Don’t keep things you don’t need. If something is trash, treat it as such and don’t keep it in your house a second longer than necessary.
Step 2 – Pass it on to someone else. If the paperwork isn’t addressed to you hand it over!
Step 3 – If you don’t need it right away, file it then and there for later. That way, when you need to find it, it’s easily accessible.
Step 4 – Take action with it. Quite often you’ll get paperwork which requires immediate action such as bills. Pay them as they come in to save you losing or forgetting about them.
